You got me this time. I won't go easy on the next surprises!!!

It was a week before my birthday when Yati texted me saying "Guys, are you free next Weds?"
So I replied, perhaps maybe but after 7pm. Whats up?
and so her response was "Aku nak belanja kau makan. Kan birthday kau..."
Please note that her 1st message was "GUYS ........"
I already smelt fish. So I contain my suspicion.
The day draws nearer and I never reminded her anything about our date.
Until a day before my birthday.
I remember clearly that it was on Sunday we chilled at our usual spot.
Almost everyone was there.Almost.
Sopi, Jenap, Yani, Dayah, Barney, Yati.
Everything that was being said became a song.
When Barney said she itching going for a karoake.
So I said LETS!!!
I think Yati panicked. She said...
"Takpe, Kita pegi dua orang aje ok nanti Weds..."
At the same time my eyes was on Sopi whose eyes was on Barneys.
They were exchanging "glances" as though they trying to hide something.
I smelt double fish!
At the same time my mind was thinking...
eh eh... how come both of us aje? like funny lah.
then what's with the sms with GUYS in it.
Funny lah!
When I provoked Yati...
"Kau betul ke nak pegi kita dua orang aje..."
and she die die said yes.
cos she can't afford to belanja the rest as well if they were to follow.
It got me thinking, the rest needn't know that you belanja me mah...
I test market with barney.
Told her to tag along and I'll pay for her share.
She kept saying she can't cos she gotta help her sis.
Ok fine.
One night before the surprise, I made a reason for Yati to actually postponed or just treat me dinner in Woodlands. She die die wanted me to follow her all the way to town. Die Die wanted me to go!
I smell the WHOLE MARKET already.
So I test market with her.
"You confirm confirm going both of us only right?"
she said yes!!!
so I warned her,
"Yelah, kita berdua nanti tetiba jadi ramai..."
and she HAHA at me.
oh yes...
I definitely smell FOUL FISH! Very strong you know!
The day came.
I'm totally prepared. I know what's coming.
Remember, Barney said she's helping her sis when suddenly at 3pm she said she bored at the shop...
??? Puzzled. Cos she went there at noon. How come already bored at 3pm ehk?
So she said she'll meet us in town.
Ok.
Met Yati and made our way to town.
She was busy with her phone. Suddenly she received a phone call. she said it was barney,
then while she was talking on the phone she said,
"Oh kau naik taxi gi Forum eh?"
I interfered.
"ASAL FORUM EH?"
then she continue talking and talking.
i asked,"ASAL FORUM?"
So yati "action" ask...
"a'ah eh barney, asal forum? OOO Kau terasa nak karaoke eh? Tak jadi makan lah ni? Lah pulak..."
Haha. It confirmed my suspicion.
I'm going to have me surprise at Cashbox karaoke studio!
So went to collect Yati's camera at Wisma then made our way to Borders.
Barney gave me that tired face and pissed off face. As though she just came back from "work"
She was being very difficult that day! Gosh!
Bought a light meal at BK and it was close to 8pm.
Suddenly Barney wanted to pee!
I told her to hold and pee at Cashbox.
She said she couldn't hold any longer!
Ish!
Yati was worried there might not be any rooms for us.
And they were VERY VERY LONG IN THE LOO.
Testing my patience sey both of them!
After toilet, si Barney wanted to go Guardian or Watson.
Lah pulak.
I looked at the time. It's almost 8.30pm. PUKUL BAPE NAK BALIK NI.
and afraid there might not be any rooms available!
Suddenly at Watson I saw FENDI.
eh? Fendi?
EH JULI??!!
Juli arouse my suspicion by saying...
"aku tak tau pape... aku tak bersalah..."
huh? what saying you gitu face i gave her and barney.
and barney gave me a reason...
"maybe she didn't expect to see you there oso! that's why she say like that"
Benefit of the doubt lah kan. BUT I DOUBT!
ok nevermind.
I reminded Yati again, Don't let me sue you in court k love. lol~
And barney kept getting calls from so called sister of hers. Very irritatingly she answered the phone. But I know she don't speak to her sis like that. That person must be somebody else!
Suddenly as we're about to cross the road to go cashbox, Barney had a really really anoying sudden urge to smoke. DIE DIE MUST SMOKE FIRST!
Very irritating.
I NAG AND NAG AND NAG.
8.30pm already, still here. dono got room or not. what time want to go home. nag nag nag.
ALL OF A SUDDEN a TENGKORAK FIGURE walked pass us.
I shouted, REEEENAAAA....REEEENAAAA... eh eh... no respond. WHAT HAPPEN LAH SIA?
I SCREAMED. RINA! RINA! RINAAAA!
Wah lau... rabak pe.
k, we went to the lounge.
NOTE: Yati feared that won't be rooms right?
The moment they went to recption desk, they said,
booked under the name of Ain.
"Lah... DAH BOOK LAH NI... TADI TAKUT SGT TAKDE BILIK!"
pissed off, i sat down.
Skali one of the staff went to them and said bilik dah siap.
she looked at me and gave me that sheepish cheeky "i know it's you they surprising" look.
I frowned at her and smiled.
I smiled all the way. I followed their lead.
I know they wanted me to be infront, Oh no. Not this time.
I was SMILING all the way as I walked behind them!
and you know what.
If you've been to cashbox, normally an unoccupied clean room the door would be open, and the lights will be brightly lit right?
This is not the case.
it's close and the room was dark with the disco ball light on.
I NOT STUPID OK!
lol.
The moment they opened the door, there's DAYAH's LOUD voice together with the rest singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
OH dear...
Eventhough I've suspeced and expected it,
my knees all went weak and wobbly.
