Satay & Kain

Salam all.
I woke up to the sound of my bros opening the wardrobe looking for clothes.
"KAK!!! NAK IKUT TAK? PEGI JOHOR???!!!"
It felt sooo good to be in my cosy bed that I actually doze off soon after that.It wasn't even 0800hrs yet!
Then came another voice @ 0830hrs asking the same question, I think it was my aunt. Lol. Could't even figure who it was!Still in my sleep I ask who is going? What for? What time? Go where? lol.
All questions were answered & I said no, and go back to sleep.
At 0915hrs,the same voice asking,
"Kak, nak tukar duit tak? abah nak kluar tu tukar duit"
I just shake head.
"tak nak pegi ke tak nak tukar duit?"
I said: DUA-DUA LAH. and zzzzz....lol~!
1000hrs they are still @ home. I saw my bros still in their t-shirts and shorts. I assumed that they are not following. So I decided to stay home & cook pasta. So when I asked my bro what sauce to go along with, they say,
"I'm going JB lah"
Panic, I asked, BOTH OF YOU?
Uh-huh.
Macam lipas kudung aku pi siap2 nak ikut.
And so...Fetch my lovebirds uncle&aunt @ CCK off to JB via 2nd Link. It was a smooth journey. No jams. Alhamdullilah.
1st stop was Osman Restaurant. I don't know why they like to go there. Had a fullfilling generous meal of fried beehoon. Superb! I was really full throughout the day! Really no kidding.
Next stop was to find Char Kuey. They practically borong the Char Kuey! I think there's about 100 pieces in total. Goodness... Simpan semiggu katanya.
Next stop was Bandar Baru Uda to get the favourite Putu Bambu. Excellent. I shouted i want 3 boxes, my bro shotued 2. That makes 5 in total. LOL. So There's about 15 boxes I guess? Of course it's not for us alone. Gave a few boxes to our relatives in SG.
Next was Giant Plentong. At Giant Hypermarket, we didn't shop that much. The main purpose was NAGOYA. The makciks favourite place to get Kain Mentah. Initially I'm not so interested lah. Then as I go around, I found one material that I like. And then another, and another. Lol. In the end mum bought me two materials & I got 1 for my dearest granny.
The makciks (my mum included) mata rambang. If they can, they'll get the whole store!We spent the most time in there! It was almost 1830hrs. The guys from McDonalds came back and they are still choosing the materials!
Next was Angsana. Singgah jap untuk Solat Maghrib. Dah singgah tu, jalan2 lah sekejap. Sempat beli CD Zainal Abidin & Salamun Salam Koleksi Nasyid Hits 1428H.Dah tu TERmasuk dalam satu kedai namanya "Gulati" (Is that how you spell it?)Mata ku jadi rambang dan gilerrrr the moment I lay eyes on those silks! The price tags showed 4 mtr @ RM200+!!! But everything there was super lovely.
Thank goodness my aunt say, "eh kira ok ape harga dia. SILK tau. mana boleh dpt in Singapore" ekekeke.
So now one of the kain is in my head. Oh my... gonna get that!!!! Don't care!!!
Next was WAK RADOL!!! Ok, This Wak Radol is just like a typical kedai kopi tepi jalan, but it has stole the heart of the Sultan Johor for their happening satay! Thanks to our cousin Efa who intro it to us. Thanks to Wak Radol, everywhere else's satay taste no good to us! wakakaka. Not only that, other dishes taste just as good! Kalau tak sedap, tak kan lah Sultan sanggup nak satay dorang kan.....
Dengan semangat yg berkobar2 ni nak satay, sesampai je di korner lampu isyarat, EH WAK RADOL TUTUP LAH! Adeh....Hampa!
Next was 2nd link R&R. Since Wak Radol is close, we decide to just eat @ 2nd link's R&R lah. So dad ordered 40pieces satay. It tasted good, but masya'Allah, keras mcm batu!
Eh thank eh Wak Radol... because of you, satay2 org lain rasanya cam tak sedap! LOL~!It's a compliment to Wak Radol kay! For the rest yg berniaga satay, minta ampun, minta mahap banyak2 ye.
Next stop, It's our final destination.... HOME!
That's my Saturday.
Tomorrow gotta go for a Wedding Reception. A primary school friend's getting married!Congrats Mir!
